Pros

  • build quality of the lens is very good and in line with most moderately priced
  • The small rubberized focus ring operates very smooth
  • wide
  • ribbed
  • rubberized manual-focusing ring turns
  • pleasantly compact and fast enough for available-light shooting
  • loved the rendering and AF speed
  • very compact and well built
  • sharper and better suits digital sensors
  • The lens has a very good resistance to veiling flare which
  • Sharp Nikkor with excellent contrast

Cons

  • we are NOT affiliated with Nikon Corp
  • It had been raining heavily in the night
  • little when focusing towards closer focus distances
  • The front element does not rotate so using a polarizer is no problem
  • Nikon was sitting at home unused most of the time
  • bokeh is not very distracting
  • the corners are still very dark
  • slow and cumbersome
  • very soft
  • and the corners are equally bad
  • suffers most with window glare
