Pros

  • versatile
  • affordable and multifunctional wearable
  • like mileage
  • is easy to verify for accuracy
  • quick videos in the app and on the web are excellent for each exercise
  • pretty comfortable Cortana / Windows mobile 10 integration etc is
  • Microsoft has improved quite significantly the comfort and feel
  • the site is a pretty good basic platform
  • site layout itself is super-clean and fairly easy to navigate
  • matched the best with HR data from a much more accurate device
  • HR was very stable

Cons

  • despite being decidedly messy
  • lack of apps and its overhyped Health platform
  • display real estate might be a bit limiting
  • Can be quite difficult to see stats whilst running as screen quite small
  • Bulky design and annoying to wear
  • vitals for pace and custom intervals
  • isn t sweaty and doesn t have to feel tight on your wrist
  • battery had been depleted and requiring the charger to turn back on
  • not offer quite the same inferences or detail without having to pay a monthly fee
  • for a Gorilla Glass display and a metal body
  • visibly shown signs of wear in the first two months

Fitness wearables really only exist for one reason: To collect information about your health in order to coach and encourage you into being a better version of you. Even though the Band 2 sucks at being actually wearable, it’s still one of the best fitness trackers I’ve ever strapped on my wrist.
