Pros

  • Strap management is excellent and worked superbly against my facial contours with
  • durable and well made
  • better comfort
  • bolder styling cues and improved safety measures
  • restrained look is what makes it so appealing
  • it looks great and matches well with almost every pair of sunglasses
  • Safer
  • more comfortable
  • more efficient
  • The soft-touch straps are equally comfortable
  • Aero is all well and good

Cons

  • the rear straps can get caught in the helmet fit adjuster
  • retention system had unclipped from the impact and dropped out of the helmet
  • sunglasses ports didn t work and we missed having a place to put our eyewear
  • there are no additional safety features such as a crash sensor
  • The overly long chinstrap can also be somewhat annoying
  • not so easy while riding the bike
  • all helmets have to pass a BS standard
  • slight weight penalty and interruption to airflow
  • Rivale weighs only 10g more then the old version
  • yellow plastic structure that sits inside the helmet
  • Mips could not be called cheap
