Pros

  • shines up like that it looks great
  • Light pressure can produce a natural polished sheen
  • Makita also makes head changes simple
  • brings enough power to clean the patina off material and raise surface grain
  • Dust collection is excellent and a must in my opinion
  • very versatile sander that is adaptable to many uses

Cons

  • heavy so using it on assembled frames is hard work
  • slow
  • boring
  • and hard work
  • paint-stripping power tool
  • took longer to finish the surface with the wire brush than I was
  • the PC really seem to target those looking to strip paint
  • quality info lacking in many of the reviews
  • the dust port is on the right
  • doesn't have a guide/depth wheel
