Pros

  • ProFire 2626 to your computer is simple
  • Installing the provided software and drivers from the provided disk is easy
  • that it is compatible with Pro-Tools
  • manual is very well and explains very well the operation of the machine

Cons

  • Mixer/router could be daunting for some
  • it hasn t caused issues for me
  • their supplied FireWire cable is not
  • audio would not play through the device
  • The device has been accidentally disconnected during a couple of my Logic sessions
  • M-Audio s driver site is a little confusing
  • you also lose the second pair of ADAT ports
  • none of my knobs did ramolit or broken

  • for recording - How many tracks you record / play simultaneously
  • no EQ or other signal processing
