LG G Watch - Pros & Cons

LG G Watch

Pros

  • G Watch is pretty unassuming
  • It is actually a really great watch
  • 410mAh battery performs well
  • looks great with nicely popping colours and a decent resolution
  • wonderfully quick and easy process
  • Battery life is also as good as Android Wear gets right
  • G Watch R feels solid and well made
  • The Samsung products are now refined and work well
  • very responsive
  • bright and easy to read
  • Voice commands worked almost flawlessly

Cons

  • deluge of wrist vibrations gets irritating
  • Android Wear lacks polish as well as more granular control over notifications
  • not a dead chunk of circuits strapped to your wrist
  • hiccups persist across the entire operating system
  • papery appearance is functional but a little dull
  • G Watch could be considered merely a display for Android Wear
  • rubber strap is outrageously ugly and looks cheap as hell
  • the battery life is worse than the G Watch
  • The watch band is definitely lackluster
  • No wearable ran Android Wear prior to these two devices
  • you have to manually adjust the brightness depending on your location

Until now, the options have all been a little clunky, lacking either beautiful hardware, usable software or both. This is better. But that doesn't make it good enough—yet.
