A fine effort from LG, with a strong feature list
LG's BP645 has almost everything you would want from a Smart Blu-ray player except a 24p detection mode.
LG BP645 Review: LG's 3D-ready Blu-ray deck boasts Spotify and Now TV and loads more, but how does it measure up to the budget competition?
The GHI's Tried & Tested verdict of the LG BP645 Blu-ray Player
The LG BP645 is a very good mid-range Blu-Ray player. It includes playback of 3D Blu-Ray disks, upscaling of DVDs to 1080p HD, and support for Smart TV, including the BBC iPlayer, Amazon Instant Video, Netflix, Blinkbox and YouTube. It's also excellent for networking, with ethernet, Wi-Fi, Miracast, Smart Share and USB connectivity enabling the sharing of content from smartphones, tablets and laptops.
LG's BP645 has almost everything you would want from a Smart Blu-ray player except a 24p detection mode.
