Pros

  • affordability and compact design
  • it is very intuitive to navigate
  • fast frame rate really helps
  • The video mode has one very impressive feature
  • high ISO settings are relatively clean for a point and shoot
  • the quality is actually quite good
  • this LCD screen is actually very good
  • picture quality and portability
  • the layout feels ergonomically designed and therefore intuitive to use

Cons

  • built-in flash is not very powerful
  • feedback is on many occasions incomplete
  • inconsistent
  • and unreliable
  • slower and longer than normal
  • not only including true optical image stabilization
  • it doesn't have a headphone port though
  • built-in Stereo microphone but no speaker
  • Does the Leica V-Lux 3 have Weather Sealing
  • and stock clearance sales often push the camera price considerably down
  • the lens only protrudes another 2 inches
