The lens is very well built
wide angles and this looks like a winner
Framing lines are clear and bright
and build quality feels
Nice touch
ergonomics and handling of this lens is perfect for my preferences
architecture and even day-to-day use
It s a superb performer in every way

with this lens initially is a little bit clunky
imprecision tends to defeat the purpose of such high end gear
noisier shadows and dark tones though
have a camera to use the lens with
purple fringing typically appears more towards the edges and corners of the frame
blue skies tend to become very dark in the edges
24mm slightly too wide for most of my shooting also
they are difficult to find or match cosmetically with the lens setup
It s not the fastest wide angle in town
Leica lenses traditionally do not focus very closely
slightly jarring at first
Vignetting is a non-issue completely
this lens can be subject to flare
