exceptional image and build quality
Color Rendition The colors from this lens are wonderful
The sharpness from this lens is superb
They re simply fantastic
micro-contrast is fantastic
Handling wise the lens is great
Retaining highlight detail and shadow detail is fairly straight-forward
The lens itself is light and sharp
Always Enabled Necessary cookies are absolutely essential for the website to function properly
This lens is astonishingly wonderful
best 35mm lens money can buy for any system
Sony is incredibly sharp and has the perfect bokeh
stellar and produce really marvellous pictures
delightfully sharp
compact
and affordable
absolutely incredible image quality and pair especially well
the focus tab feels so light and buttery smooth
The metal screw-on hood is particularly nice
faster
sharper and high resolving power lenses
It fits very well to my 50mm for street photography
35mm is very good for city shots
It is a very easy lens to handle

not practical with a wide-angle design
only main controls on this lens
no M mount lens that I know of has been weather sealed
the colors are very saturated
screw-in lens hood makes filter changes a bit of a pain
Hood design makes filter use problematic
More Edges suffer at wide apertures
Zeiss it is not an internal focusing mechanism

The 35 FLE is not completely free of focus shift

extra stop of light can actually make or break an image
sharpness suffers as diffraction sets
It is a bit on the heavy side however
knurled focusing barrel rather than just the smooth metal
slow and deliberate
Pen Mini does not focus with the aperture stopped down
focus shift
The adapter will not hold the lens square to the sensor plane
: no coupling between camera and aperture
