You cannot recover details from the shadows
not have color noise affecting the image at all
rangefinder cameras are hard to precisely nail the distance with precision
There is no comparison with lens sharpness
there is no comparison to build quality
very hard to put a price tag on
digital Leica s are getting a lot less use
plastic ISO dial on the back is not a very elegant solution
very expensive gear is hanging around your neck
a camera whose design has barely changed in half a century
walking around with an MP around your neck is hardly a shocking sight
Lenses are extra
and they are expensive
browser does not support iframes
exposing film creates murky
foggy and very grainy images
marks on my gear but
It s viewfinder was just too dim
The silver chrome finish is slippery compared to the black paint finish
there is no free space in that elegant chrome-finished chassis
lack of fanfare in print and presentation
There s nothing quite like a brand new camera
Digital images are destroyed if over-exposed
It also tends to feel warmer to hold in the wintertime
marketing of the M camera line nowhere nearly as offensive/obnoxious
The shutter release is not smooth like the mechanical M series due
Leica makes models with an optical viewfinder
no Leica logo and it's only available in chrome or black paint
there is no shutter lock on the M-A
flash sync of 1/50 might seem a tad slow
There is no automation save for the meter
M6TTL
is pretty severe
Not megabytes or black paint or the direction of rotation of the shutter speed dial
the camera does not help you with image composition and focusing
these cameras are basically useless
