Designed to appeal to serious photographers and informal snapshooters alike, the family-friendly Leica C-Lux takes its place in the highly acclaimed Leica lineup. Loaded with features that appeal to ardent photographers, the Leica C-Lux compact camera is built around a 20.1-megapixel 1-inch sensor and features a 15X zoom (24-360mm equivalent), eyelevel viewfinder, 3-inch LCD monitor, UHD 4k (4030p) video, 5-axis image stabilization, versatile network connectivity, 10-fps continuous shooting, Raw image capture and speedy Contrast Detect DFD (Depth from Defocus) autofocus.
A well-built, ultra-slim digicam that produces natural-looking pictures in most shooting conditions.Almost identical in specifications to Panasonic's substantially cheaper DMC-FX07 model (which we reviewed last year), the new Leica C-Lux 2 has the same 7.2-megapixel imager and a similar Leica DC Vario-Elmarit 3.6x optical zoom lens, but its focal length range is marginally shorter (28-100mm vs 28-102mm). Focusing distances are the same for both cameras, as is body weight, although the C-Lux 2 is a tad longer, higher and slimmer.

The Leica C-Lux pocket camera is a premium edition of the Panasonic ZS200. It's prettier, but also pricier.
A versatile superzoom compact camera and an ideal travel companion, but that Leica badge doesn't come cheap

Leica C-Lux review: This is no ordinary point-and-shoot, even if it looks like one. The capabilities of C-Lux are more akin to a mirrorless camera and not a compact.
