A steam espresso maker is a good starting point
Krups XP1000 is an excellent machine
XP1000 was easy to use and produced a reasonably good coffee
XP1000 also comes with an impressive twenty four month warranty
Easy to use Easy to clean Reasonably fast
was quite safe and easy to operate
small
effective and very affordable
definitely excellent value for the machine
Coffee model is well regarded
neat
clean
and ready for use
s simple to use
and sleekly designed

It s more than five hundred bucks
steam-driven rather than pump
Neither of those is deal breakers
the froth gets less frothy
this product has been discontinued
take any longer than three to four minutes
lack of crema from the Krups shot
it probably could be easier to just head off to the coffee shop
is only one of two espresso machines available at my local big-box store
Too much steam was escaping from the front of the screw cap
it blew a gasket after 25 years
the literal lack of space for cups
It s not a perfect appendage
it s really not
pretty hard to make a mistake with those settings
it can be quite difficult to remove the water tank cap
