A revamp of the 8-megapixel Konica Minolta DiMAGE A2 model that features a slightly trimmed specification from the A2 but also has a few new tricks of
Konica Minolta Dimage A200
The A200 gives you long telephoto reach without the shake
Review posted 12/18/2004 Click on the DiMAGE A200 to take a QuickTime VR tour Konica Minolta's DiMAGE A200 is a 8.0-megapixel high-performance digital camera that is perfect for all levels of photographic experience from advanced amateur to creative beginner. Equipped with Konica Minolta's Anti-Shake
In September 2004 Konica Minolta revealed a slightly surprising new DiMAGE A series digital camera, the DiMAGE A200. Based on the DiMAGE A2 (and predecessor, the A1), the A200 features a new, smaller and more rounded body design, simplified control layout and a flip-out and twist LCD monitor (compared to the A2's tilt-only unit). Otherwise the specifications reveal a slightly cut-back unit which loses some A2 features but improves on others.

Detailed review of Konica Minolta DiMAGE A200, with actual sample images, and a detailed data sheet.
Steve's Conclusion Konica Minolta's A200 is a refinement of the 8-megapixel DiMAGE A2 we reviewed earlier this year. The A200 offers improved shooting performance and a new fully-articulating LCD monitor/viewfinder, but discards the A2's 3-D Predictive Focus, Subject Tracking and EVF articulation.
Although it has the same sensor, lens and 'Anti-Shake' image stabilisation as the DiMAGE A2, Konica Minolta's new DiMAGE A200 is smaller and lighter, and its price is substantially less. Its build is also different, with a full vari-angle monitor replacing the A2's hinged LCD, a fixed, diopter-adjustable EVF with no eye sensor and a redesigned pop-up flash.
