a clever piece of engineering and one that scores points from a design perspective

They still sound very good with a quite laid back but rich signature
more air and openness to its mids and more neutral overall tone
low is detailed and extended - the well-textured bass
midrange is expressive and detailed
frequency response and lightweight-and-secure design
The clarity in the high-mids is exceptional
The fit is impressive the earphones stay in your ears quite well
the sound is beautifully transparent and pure with great musical flow
exceptionally clear and balanced sound
Vocals sound great
very natural with good body
a very lightweight and supple cable that
the earphones are already comfortable and isolate very well
are great for travel and will sound nice from all sources
an impeccably sculpted and addictive sound combined

The highs are lacking extension to quite a degree
rubber strain reliefs are too soft and prone to splitting
There is no sense of air
not helped by an intimate soundstage
Bass is not focused on slam
X10is fell a little flat
optimisation boils down to a remote part way down the cable
synapse-loosening bass
The treble is low on sparkle and lacks some authority
they fall often from my ears
noise isolation is poor
fearsome attack and vanishingly small dimensions
suffers from some cable thump
no small feat given the controls on the 50-inch cable
