  • sound quality is competitive with anything in their price range
  • The midrange was also clean and rather refined having a sweet
  • superb production and excellent instrumentation
  • excellent value in a reasonably priced floorstanding speaker
  • Detail levels are respectable

Cons

  • Like Loading
  • a slight boxy sound at times
  • horn flare gives broad dispersion
  • loudspeakers are not for listeners who value a completely
  • needs little power to go very loud
  • speakers inward to fire towards the listening seat
  • these are decidedly perilous waters in which to release a new product
  • playback highlights some questionable timing and a somewhat muted dynamic reach
  • performance of the R-34C centre
  • overly bright -Sub is woolly and imprecise-Disappointing
