One of the main differences between the JBL Clip+ and the JBL Flip 5 is their design and size. The Clip+ is a small and portable speaker that can be easily attached to a backpack or a belt, thanks to its built-in carabiner clip. The Flip 5, on the other hand, is larger and more cylindrical in shape, and it is not designed to be attached to anything. This means that the Clip+ is more convenient to carry around and use outdoors, while the Flip 5 is better suited for indoor use. Another difference between the two speakers is their sound quality. The Clip+ has a single 3.5-inch full-range driver that produces sound with a frequency range of 150Hz-20kHz, while the Flip 5 has two 2-inch full-range drivers and two passive radiators that produce sound with a frequency range of 70Hz-20kHz. This means that the Flip 5 has a wider frequency range and can produce deeper and more powerful bass compared to the Clip+. In terms of battery life, the Clip+ has a smaller 600mAh battery that can last up to 8 hours on a single charge, while the Flip 5 has a larger 4,800mAh battery that can last up to 12 hours on a single charge. This means that the Flip 5 has a longer battery life and can be used for longer periods without needing to be charged. Overall, while the JBL Clip+ and the JBL Flip 5 are both portable Bluetooth speakers from JBL, they have some significant differences in their design, sound quality, and battery life. The Clip+ is more compact and convenient to carry around, while the Flip 5 has better sound quality and a longer battery life.
