We'll check out the more mainstream six-core proc from Intel as we put the Core i5 8600K through our benchmark paces. This $257 USD proc is again a six-core processor that you will need to seat on... Introduction
Intel's Core i5-8600K is priced $120 below the i7-8700K, making it an interesting option for the more value-oriented buyer. It features the same six-core design, but lacks HyperThreading and loses 3 MB of cache. Our testing shows that it still is a great CPU, especially when overclocked to almost 5 GHz.
It always seemed the overclockable Core i5 8600K would be the Intel Coffee Lake CPU that would steal my gaming heart. I was wrong.
Intel's Coffee Lake-S flagship, the Core i7 8700K is - in our view - the fastest gaming CPU that money can buy right no…
Intel Core i5-8600K The new Intel Core i5-8400 Coffee Lake CPUs certainly left us impressed, despite our own skepticism prior to their launch. I've been eager to see what else the new Coffee Lake CPUs have to offer, and today I have the Intel Core i5-8600K CPU going on our test bench. This is likely to be one of the most popular chips for many consumers. The i5 range is a popular option for gamers, as it delivers most of the features and performance of an i7, albeit at a lower price. With this being a K-series processor, it's also
Intel's Core i5-8600K races to market with 50% more cores and impressive performance.
