  • It is very effective for the solos
  • Manipulation of memory are very simple
  • The switchblade is a very versatile amp in the metal category

  • Only the master volume is obviously not memorable
  • tonal comparisons have become just too close to call

Pros

  • It is very effective for the solos
  • Manipulation of memory are very simple
  • The switchblade is a very versatile amp in the metal category
  • The multi-effect is simple but well made
  • clean channel provides crystal clear sound
  • EQ is effective
  • A touch of reverb and chorus can be very nice
  • sounds are pretty good
  • The reverb is actually quite nice for a digital spring
  • MIDI switching channel works very well
  • It sounded great with both single coil and hum bucker

Cons

  • Only the master volume is obviously not memorable
  • tonal comparisons have become just too close to call
  • No miracle lamps with outbreaks in the preamp
  • experiencing tube problems
  • almost too powerful to play in bars
  • modulation effects lack any level of control so they are mostly useless
  • The high frequencies are nowhere near as loud as they used to be
  • It s not a real valve amp
  • not possible to dial in a totally different and crazy sound
  • it can sound a little muffled at very low volumes
