Text:Karan Bajaj, ET Bureau In November last year, Huawei launched the Honor 4c — a mid-range offering, part of their sub-brand Honor. Now, they have launched a successor with improved design and specifications — it’s called the Honor 5c. Continuing with the handy form factor and slim design, the Honor 5c has a 5.2-inch display in a slim 8.3mm unibody design. However, at 156 grams, it is as heavy as phones with a 5.5-inch display. The rear has a brushed metal finish to add a premium look along with a slight curve on both sides for a comfortable grip. The camera module on the rear protrudes out a bit but has a metal ring around it for protection against bumps and scratches. Under the camera is the fingerprint scanner while on the right side of the phone is the volume and power button. Overall, the Honor 5c feels well built — almost as good as the premium Honor 7.
