  • viewing angles are very nice on the HP as you can see
  • excellent colors
  • more connectivity options
  • environment in my office much nicer and the colors in front of my face much clearer
  • keeps us efficient and helps us stay sane
  • Features and Capability Editing is smooth and fast
  • streaming video was very clean with no jumps
  • Z1 rendered transitions quickly and made them easy to view
  • The ability to take a video of your computer is really handy
  • reach an enthusiastic audience of students
  • enthusiasts and professional videographers and filmmakers

Cons

  • no LUT inside of the monitor to help for correcting the color
  • there is no HDMI port available
  • It only has a standard gamut LED lighting system
  • there are no color presets
  • no dynamic contrast or enhanced response modes
  • Display Port
  • lack of visible error is practically equivalent to no error whatsoever
  • HP ZR2740w has no system menu
  • they are very bumpy
  • input lag above 10 starts getting bad
  • no Thunderbolt or eSATA ports were to be found
