  • immensely popular compression application with an easy to use benchmark
  • is easy to upgrade and service

Cons

  • lacks Thunderbolt and eSATA
  • the performance gets affected when we turn on encryption
  • mind the x86 is slower than the SPARC M7
  • low priority applications slow down high priority ones
  • encryption has a huge impact on x86
  • IBM only has one published benchmark
  • features TrueCrypt can look a bit skewed
  • This site uses Akismet to reduce spam
  • cost a fair bit less
  • Intel could not come in with a sub-100w TDP
  • The setup is not yet complete
