  • Slim and lightweight build but durable
  • its complex function capabilities and ease of operation

  • Having string support and named programs and vars is also rather nice
  • a great value for the money
  • HP42s is much simpler to use
  • Unlimited stack is nice too and the keys are good

  • (C)/on key is not recessed or low profile
  • Keys have a tendency to skip entries during fast keying
  • 3M grip tape stuck in the battery area
  • scrambled display returned - but not consistently
  • Having to push hundreds of buttons into a 2 line display is tedious
  • the interface for these special settings is a bit awkward
  • the manual is a pdf and is rubbish
  • in hex mode is cumbersome
  • physically too large for comfort and the key layout is really bad
  • Had to pull batteries and then reset to recover
  • slight curve
