If the $99 RE-400 earphones' design and performance were designed to please the audiophile cognoscenti, it looks like HiFiMan hit a bull's-eye.
The HiFiMan RE-400 should appeal to the casual listener better than the models it replaces while holding very close to the HiFiMan sound many—myself included—have come to love.
HiFiMAN RE-400 Waterline are $29 in-ear monitor earphones that deliver audio performance way beyond what could be expected from their budget price-tag.
