Hasselblad H5D-50C - Pros & Cons

solid and well-built
overall look of the images is pretty awesome
faster
more efficient and more ergonomic
make it easy to shoot compelling lifestyle images
It is very clever
and works very well most of the time
image quality it produces is really excellent
The lenses are fantastic as well though
as the grip is nice and chunky
It all responds very quickly with minimal lag
quicker and easier later
It has a nice indent for the pinky
relatively simple and intuitive to use
ergonomics and handling on the H6D are sublime
the 50C looks more modern and more streamlined
Their customer service is superb
Tethering works very well in both cases
the camera is light and easy to handle
it works wonderfully with both bodies
H4D-40 feels more solid
50C has better high ISO performance for certain
looks quite sharp and life-like
faster shooting
better image quality and more flexibility than those traditionally offered
smaller is better
The detail in the full resolution samples are amazing
the system locks quickly and accurately determines the new focus point
responsive
easily customisable and settings are easy to find

DSLR cameras still have a flapping mirror

Sometimes image previews will not show up
button is currently not functional
it does not have Auto-ISO
very slow and unresponsive
creating interim master layers is not optimal with these enormous files
noise-prone CCD sensors
it s not too heavy
The D800 s image is riddled with ugly noise
The playback screen on the camera is mediocre
with previous H System cameras has only one center focusing point
in-camera metering fell short
blows you away and leaves you feeling a bit short at the same time
HC series finders to be a bit hit and miss
lack of that time exposure lock gives me pause
it often has trouble locking on
no electronic connection between lens and back
H6-100 is a little bit delayed
