  • larger
  • better designed and more of them are customizable
  • ergonomic and comfortable
  • the camera was plenty fast enough
  • the camera is light and easy to handle
  • Tethering works very well in both cases
  • the 50C looks more modern and more streamlined
  • H4D-40 feels more solid
  • it works wonderfully with both bodies
  • 50C has better high ISO performance for certain
  • Their customer service is superb

Cons

  • memory card related
  • with previous H System cameras has only one center focusing point
  • cameras weren t made to be speed demons
  • higher ISO weakness will not pose as much of a problem
  • only get one shot
  • the sensor is not "full frame
  • creating interim master layers is not optimal with these enormous files
  • have slowed down my PC system
  • blows you away and leaves you feeling a bit short at the same time
  • in-camera metering fell short
