  • slightly more expensive than most of its competition
  • Dead spots are a thing of the past
  • old-fashioned
  • frustrating and disappointing Wi-Fi extenders
  • You have to cut and paste to another browser
  • Synology router will not sit flush against the wall
  • The YouTube video seemed to download in chunks
  • nor does it require extra cost after the 30th of September
  • it will only take a few minutes to get the Internet running
  • the licenses are perpetual
  • the router will still have tons of processing power
