  • well-built and waterproof
  • Dynamic range is on par with other action cameras
  • Dynamic range is good
  • colors are pretty accurate
  • new ways of thinking
  • new connections
  • and new industries
  • Garmin has implemented is voice control
  • renewable and portable energy
  • better sound performance and enhancement
  • the controls are simple and the quality of the images you get out of it are excellent

Cons

  • but can only output at 4K quality
  • no GPS or additional connectivity
  • it takes a few attempts to work
  • this camera might be a bit heavy for a road race
  • Virb is heavier and bulkier than its competitors
  • certainly not dSLR quality
  • recording button disappeared from the screen after the photo was taken
  • only shutting off when the battery finally died
  • video is still compressed
  • oversaturation of the colors is still there and the sky can become overexposed
  • the Garmin VIRB is difficult to see and has poor resolution
