Pros

  • it very easy to see in all conditions
  • positioning accuracy to be good and on par with the
  • Oregon series is a great handheld GPS first and foremost
  • the camera is excellent
  • the screen is great
  • keyboard is great for typing out destinations to search for
  • touchscreen has both portrait and landscape views for your comfort
  • water-resistant and slightly waterproof
  • small and lightweight enough to comfortably slip into a pocket
  • a nice balance of performance and practicality
  • highly functional

Cons

  • The Oregon 600 is a little bit slower but not significantly
  • lack of clear or coherent setup
  • no sunlight the backlight illuminates the pixels
  • Only use GPS (no Galileo or GLONASS)
  • The icons on the bottom were smaller than my glove fingertip
  • Birdseye too useful and the quality is not as good as Google Maps
  • lack of memory and maps
  • This site uses Akismet to reduce spam
  • No cherry-picked units sent by manufacturers
  • it eats away quickly at the rather limited 16-hour battery life
