  • perfect ergonomics and work very well with all types of gloves
  • The data fields are customizable
  • compact size of the device makes handling and storing super easy

  • features like Live tracking and Smart Notifications worked like a charm
  • done a great job of making the display perfect for outdoor use
  • The simple keypad is wonderfully easy-to-use

Cons

  • The display offers only a portrait view
  • many GPS units hard to operate with gloves on
  • 64st are not quite as responsive as a touchscreen GPS s
  • Keeping the Bluetooth on will deplete the batteries faster
  • the resolution of the screen can be grainy
  • The higher weight could be packed in the box
  • Tall trees and buildings are not a problem for this system s navigational processes
  • it is not a touchscreen as some other popular models are nowadays
  • reduced backlight or slower map redraws
  • GPSMAP does not come with a Birdseye subscription
  • the setup is a bit convoluted and involves a few apps
