The focus ring operates smoothly
Distortion is also remarkably well-controlled

The focus ring operates smoothly
Distortion is also remarkably well-controlled
polycarbonate with deep grooves that offer excellent tactile feel
autofocus was great for me
quite quickly adequate and exact
The 5-stop IS is terrific and a huge advantage
spectacular ocean vistas and diverse wildlife
The internal focus motor is speedy
strong performance is maintained

Zoom creep was not a factor in our testing with

XF 18-135mm is not as solidly built as the more expensive red badge zoom lenses
