Pros

  • Tailored workouts are useful here too
  • fitness tracker which is functional and useful
  • It also tracks sleep fairly accurately
  • It was nice to run outside without lugging around a phone
  • slimmer profile and lightweight design
  • the Ionic performs reasonably well in the GPS accuracy tests
  • optical HR sensor is generally pretty good
  • things are really quite good
  • Backcountry & Competitive Cyclist offer free 2-day shipping
  • small and large bands and both have a nice embossed pattern
  • the in-built GPS on the Ionic is a breeze

Cons

  • one feels a little dated and lacking in key features
  • App numbers are low
  • Ionic is compatible across mobile platforms
  • no LTE connectivity for making calls or replying to texts
  • lack of LTE connectivity
  • Too many are simply trying to capitalize on affiliate revenue
  • there s not too much to discover as a fitness device
  • the Ionic s screen has a pretty serious bezel
