  • Waterproof would certainly be nice for swimming
  • Alta is simple and does what is necessary
  • pretty indestructible and offer considerably better features

Cons

  • neither is waterproofed terribly well
  • BT stack on Android has been buggy and not fully supported
  • Google have still not got half the bugs fixed

Pros

  • Waterproof would certainly be nice for swimming
  • Alta is simple and does what is necessary
  • pretty indestructible and offer considerably better features
  • Apple is nice
  • It worked very well with the UP and have used every day since
  • Fitbit customer service has been great
  • the unit actually does a good job at balancing features and form
  • the replacement bands will be much better
  • Insights are useful and the badges and messages are generally motivating
  • remains one of the most intuitive and useful of any fitness tracking solution on
  • one of the most comprehensive and well-made fitness trackers

Cons

  • neither is waterproofed terribly well
  • BT stack on Android has been buggy and not fully supported
  • Google have still not got half the bugs fixed
  • support full notifications is not connecting directly to the OS
  • it s actually a bit heavier than the Fitbit Charge
  • Display is tough to see in direct sunlight
  • there are no display settings to adjust the screen's brightness
  • its limited display truncates messages to just a small number of characters
  • the screen is a bit faint and reflective
  • No one needs an activity tracker
  • No GPS tracking or waterproofing
