  • transparent highs and sturdy selection of onboard effects
  • GT40 is versatile and its arsenal plentiful
  • GT 40 is the most compact and living room or bedroom-friendly
  • greatest and most influential amplifiers in history

Cons

  • doesn't quite have the power to be heard over a live drummer
  • not familiar with that amp
  • effects pedals and patch cords
  • bigger distortion sounds tend towards a little fizziness
  • lack of EQ and setting customisation renders
  • lacks tight bass response
  • speakers at 20 watts a side in stereo sound
  • a bad looking piece of kit
