  • versatility and ease of use make it
  • 40 watts of power is another great feature
  • features

  • sound was great with this setting and provided a very mellow
  • clean tone
  • reverb on this amp provides a great sound
  • versatil ity and consistency of a solid state amplifier
  • the clean channel sounds gorgeous
  • very powerful 60-watts output with two loudspeakers and superb headroom

Cons

  • it does lack some significant features like a simulated headphone output
  • Hot Rod amp series produced
  • tube rectifiers are not consistent
  • the drive channels are not optimal
  • do not project the sound forward as powerful as a closed-back cabinet
  • the second dirty channel on the Hot Rod was a bit pointless
  • Hot Rod Deluxe comes with two inputs
  • the Marshall is a bit heavy
