Pros

  • Slim neck proves easy to play for beginners
  • Viper's build quality is damn impressive
  • the two humbuckers have a good amount of output and sustain
  • it is a great guitar well worth the price
  • well-balanced and contoured basswood body
  • decent and hold tune well
  • humbuckers are great for metal and pierce through the mix easily
  • with stability as well as easy string replacement
  • low action and slim design
  • pickups with smooth covers over them
  • wonderful playability and tone

Cons

  • the ESP pickups are not the highest quality ones
  • It does not store any personal data
  • not as good for metal
  • uneven frets could cause some fret buzz
  • the top nut could be cut a bit lower
  • heavy metal and hard rock
  • cheap guitars are poorly built
