Welcome to the new About Page for I Shoot Film, it is conveniently divided into sections for easy reference. Who We Are We are a group of people shooting on wonderful and glorious film in all sizes and all types. Rules and Guidelines Image Pool - This is "I Shoot Film," please only submit scans from film cameras and prints made from film cameras, this includes instant images or paper negatives such as from a pinhole camera. We DO NOT accept: Pornographic and related images or videos. Images made on iphone/cell phones. Images made exposed to film or instant printers coming from *iphone/cell phones or other non film camera sources. Digital originals * see note. Posting these digital type images may get you banned from the group. Important: To be included in the photo pool help us with some information. All images submitted are placed in a queue, this allows us to remove any image not acceptable to the group. You must include information with your upload. Camera used, film type or film size needs to be put in tags, titles or descriptions. Not all of these are required but give us one or two please. * If you are using a DSLR to digitize your negatives please let us know so it doesn't appear that the image originated on a digital camera. Discussions - Currently there are over 14,000 discussion posts already started in our group. Please use the search feature to explore these posts before starting a new topic. We have an excellent Sticky post filled with information and tutorials titled, "I Shoot Film's Tutorials and Walk Throughs (Videos / Sets)." Be specific in your titles, give as much info as possible in the body of the post and include images it they apply. The more info you give the more accurate and speedy your answers will be. Images in posts should only apply to the topic. Please make sure that images added to the thread are no larger than Flickr's medium size. NO for sale items or links, this includes trading or swapping. Give aways are OK NO posts that would be better suited to your blog or other personal site. Be kind and courteous - some of us here are newbies. Our members have an amazing amount of film knowledge and are willing to share it, but please hold your personal attacks, attitudes and condensations. Das Folgende wird nicht angenommen - Pornographische Fotos und Videos - Fotos die mit IPhone oder Handy gemacht wurden - Bilder die mit Handy oder IPhone oder anderen Nicht-Film Quellen, auf Sofort Drucker gemacht wurden. - Fotos die mit Digital Kamera gemacht wurden * siehe Vermerk unter ‘Wichtig’. - Das Hochladen von Fotos die mit einer Digital Kamera gemacht wurden, kann mitunter zur Verweisung führen. Wichtig Alle Fotos kommen erstmals auf eine Warteliste. Dies erlaubt uns die Fotos anzusehen und Fotos die nicht den Regeln folgen zu löschen. Die folgende Information muß eingeschlossen werden: Kamera Typ, Filmsorte, Filmformat, und auch Scanner (Einleser, Rasterer) falls Abdrücke gescannt wurden. * Wenn eine Digital Kamera benutzt wurde um die Fotos zu scannen, bitte erwähne dies in der Beschreibung. Dies vermeidet, dass Fotos versehentlich von den Moderatoren als Digital Fotos interpretiert werden. Diskussionen/Gesprächsrunde Zur Zeit gibt es über 14’000 Diskussionen. Bevor du eine Frage stellst, bitte suche unter ‘Search’ um festzustellen, ob eine ähnliche Diskusssion, die deine Frage beantworten könnte schon mal gestellt wurde. Falls du doch ein neues “Topic” beginnen möchtest, bitte gebe einen treffenden Titel an. Beschreibe im Inhalt so genau wie möglich um was es geht. Falls notwendig kann dies mit einem Foto illustriert werden. Je mehr Information du angibst, desto schneller und treffender kann deine Frage beantwortet werden. Hochgeladene Fotos sollten nur mit dem Thema der Frage zu tun haben und sollten nicht größer als Flickr “medium” sein. KEINE Werbung, Austausch, Verkauf, Handel. Geschenke sind akzeptiert. KEINE persönlichen Ankündigungen die eher in deinen Blog oder andere persönlichen Webseiten gehören. Bitte sei freundlich und hilfsbereit – Es gibt einige Neulinge in dieser Gruppe. Viele unserer Miglieder haben große Kenntnisse im Fotobereich und sind auch bereit diese Kenntnisse zu teilen. Aber bitte, halte persönliche Angriffe, Kritiken und Herablassungen für dich.
