Elac Navis ARB-51

Pros

  • retains its composure enough to carry the backing vocals in a satisfyingly clean and clear way
  • Songs 4 & 7 are very soothing and overwhelmingly impressive at the same time
  • the midrange to sound very sweet and agreeable to my ears
  • Both types of measurements are valuable
  • nice
  • compact
  • and scrupulously clean sounding setup
  • good electronics and a healthy dose of amplification
  • crossovers are properly matched and configured for amps and drivers
  • operatic piece with a tenor and a soprano both singing together and performing solo
  • great intensity and plenty of string detail

Cons

  • out-of- the-box trick
  • woofers typically fall short in both of those areas
  • speakers he was talking about were a 3 way design
  • the bottom octave distortion as volume goes up
  • still only the left channel played
  • exacerbated by the speakers having no remote control
  • It may not display this or other websites correctly
  • ripples are still present in the in-room curve
  • response dip is again room related
  • DSP included and are comparatively much more expensive and specialized
  • is in the in-room plots points to a possible resonance
