Pros

  • sound signature much more balanced
  • the quality of the finish is quite good and without visible flaws
  • Overall build quality
  • fit and finish are very good
  • retro design looks classy and does not stand out
  • wireless bookshelf speakers which are fantastic in terms of audio performances
  • making affordable bookshelf speakers that make pretty awesome sound
  • ELAC can t leave well alone
  • the front of the soundstage and makes lead instruments sound vivid and lifelike
  • incredibly strong sense of central imagery
  • All are fine models and well worth considering

Cons

  • Poor recordings will sound poor
  • dual flared bass port
  • high and low frequency differences
  • sharply reduces the impact of room noise
  • the speakers might not be as awesome in terms of audio performances as the upgraded version
  • it can very occasionally sound a little uncomfortable
  • Bass frequency waveforms are very long
  • sound can bounce off the ceiling and back down to the listening position
  • the midrange driver is not having to reproduce deep bass
  • its price went up $70 recently
  • distortion here so not matching our ideals
