Pros

  • performance is more than welcome here
  • better image quality is a good starting point
  • Faster response time means more clear images and no ghosting issues
  • The very impressive black depth adds dimension and vividness to pictures
  • manages to reproduce the darkest colors with quite good accuracy
  • cool IPS panel with a good response time 4 ms and 60 Hz refresh rate
  • better image quality and relatively fast response time
  • color reproduction is indeed quite good after calibration
  • Connectivity is great
  • great quality and some interesting features
  • give wide viewing angles

Cons

  • 60 Hz refresh rate is a downer here
  • A bit pricier than the ASUS model
  • the refresh rate is limited to only 60 Hz
  • VA panel has very little glow and the blacks appear very black
  • dim and scary movies or games
  • Turbo 240 function reduces brightness due to the black frame insertion
  • Colors are still a bit oversaturated
  • poor viewing angles
  • Turbo 240 requires a bit more juice to run
  • only a DisplayPort cable is supplied in the box
