Pros

  • They are far more detailed and clear than any other portable speaker
  • The pairing and re-connection processes are especially intuitive
  • balanced
  • full and every bit as impressive
  • the handle is solid
  • clean and well designed
  • The handle is fully metal and feels absolutely solid
  • Rave comes well protected within a nice minimalist box
  • power adapter is compact and supports 110-250v
  • through clean
  • textured and particularly detailed

Cons

  • large rubber control buttons up top to control the audio
  • There is no dedicated button that will activate these LEDs
  • and hold the volume buttons to change volume in larger steps
  • The lack of volume compensation is quite evident with the Rave
  • the Rave cannot be charged off regular USB ports
  • the Rave has no battery indicator
