Now this is somewhat of a shortcoming on the Dyson Supersonic's part since much cheaper hairdryers often come with the dual voltage feature. At the flick of a switch these hair dryers can go from 120-240V.

Both Dyson Supersonic and Airwrap models are lightweight and easy to use, but the Supersonic has many other advantages over the Airwrap. Dyson Supersonic is much more powerful than Airwrap. In contrast, the Supersonic is a lightweight hair dryer with a lightweight digital motor.

The Dyson dries my hair well without damaging it whatsoever. If you have curly hair and want to straighten it, the Dyson will be a lifesaver for you. If you have curly hair and like to keep it curly, I'd try the lowest airflow setting on the Dyson.
