Pros

  • DC40's controls incredibly easy to use
  • DC40 in nearly all tests and feels far more durable
  • DC40 is lightweight and pushed easily
  • the extension hose and attachments work well
  • It performed admirably on mid-pile carpet as well
  • vacuum can handle all of your daily tasks powerfully and quietly without losing suction
  • the dustbin is transparent and you can easily monitor the amount of debris collected
  • very simple
  • mess-free and hygienic
  • first-rate suction power
  • maneuverable design and incredible filtration system

Cons

  • however
  • a bit clumsy to access
  • heavier-feeling and more difficult to push and pull
  • roller brush button depresses automatically when you turn on the vacuum
  • Hard floors lack that friction
  • depresses the button to open and empty the dust bin felt flimsy
  • No products in the basket
  • Dyson Multi Floor is a little on the pricey end
  • vacuums have bags and filters
  • no longer need to stop the machine and mess with different levers and knobs
  • vacuums depend on bags to capture dust and dirt
