Cons

  • some people are not so keen on the automatic function
  • Cuisinart DCC 3200 is neither cheap nor expensive
  • Gold is inert and does not transfer any flavor
  • the metal coffee filter may allow some fines to pass through
  • break any new ground with its programmability
  • drip-brewers tend to concentrate their stream in a small area
  • 3200 employs only push buttons and no switches
  • It does feel flimsy
  • Prog/Auto On button and the time will flash again
  • DCC 3400's carafe is only a twelve cup capacity
