Pros

  • bright and sharp
  • and visible outdoors
  • produces more than acceptable results and is diverse enough for most everyday social photography
  • control layout is straightforward but unobtrusively implemented
  • The slim design with rounded corners is also pretty smart
  • The camera is designed to be fully automatic
  • well-constructed metal body
  • slim profile and classic styling
  • Macro performance is good
  • The night photograph was excellent
  • the controls are easy to master

Cons

  • losing definition towards edge of frame
  • alarming pixel fringing is noticeable on the upper tree branches
  • missing is options for completely manual shot taking
  • the optical zoom cannot be accessed when recording video
  • limited to changing image recording size and compression level and
  • it only uses a gasket for the battery cover
  • this extent does not extend very far into the main image area
  • Darker skin tones are a little warm and yellow
  • flash produced a very uneven exposure
  • it was difficult to read the icons
  • screen noise in low-light situations
