The Nikon D600 was the first full frame DSLR aimed squarely at the enthusiast market, though it was admittedly quickly followed by the Canon 6D. It packs a large sensor into a compact body and comes in at a considerably cheaper price than previous full frame cameras. But is the D600 the right first…
The Nikon D600 is a new 24.3MP full-frame DSLR aimed at serious enthusiasts that retails for under £2,000.
The Nikon Coolpix P600 offers an impressive 60x optical zoom lens that covers wide-angle and telephoto. But there are issues like a poor EVF and autofocusing that keep it from an all-around great camera.
The Nikon Coolpix P600 is a new super-zoom bridge camera with an incredible 60x zoom lens. The Nikon P600 also has a back illuminated 16 megapixel CMOS sensor, 3-inch 921K-dot vari-angle LCD screen, full 1080p high-definition movies with stereo sound, built-in Wi-Fi connectivity, an electronic viewfinder and 7fps burst shooting. Read our Nikon Coolpix P600 review to find out just what a 60x zoom lens is capable of...
Nikon D600 is a 24.0MP Advanced DSLR camera with a Full frame sized CMOS sensor and Nikon F mount. Read our D600 review to find its pros and cons.
When I was presented with the Nikon D600 ,I had my doubts. I thought it might be low end and flimsy full frame DSLR. I wondered 'what was Nikon thinking?' It was much better than I thought however. With its 24 megapixel sensor, putting out the images it does, this middle of the road DSLR, turned out to be interesting. The D600 came to us and caused a bit of controversy. Being a, somewhat, economical full frame camera,it is lacking some features especially compared to the Nikon D700 and D800 . There is some refinement to it though. The Nikon D600 does have character. After much use, the camera surprised me. The Nikon D600 is not the most sophisticated camera in the world but it does work very well.
An entry-level 'full frame' DSLR that provides 24.3-megapixel resolution and offers the option to add a Wi-Fi adapter, GPS module, stereo microphone and remote controller.

Review of the Nikon D600 and D610 camera by Thom Hogan
There appears to be a move towards increasing the number of camera models with full frame (ie 24x36mm) sensors. Sony, for one, has even released a fixed mirror DSLR model with a full frame sensor. Going back to the film camera days companies just couldn’t leave 35mm alone: Kodak stupidly tried the disk camera taking
