US and Japanese models of the D70S come with video cable with an RCA-style jack for connection to a television set or VCR. The camera's video timing can be switched back and forth between NTSC or PAL via a menu option. Any and all screens visible on the rear panel LCD are also visible through the video port.

Is nikon d70 a good camera?
    elma
Overall, the Nikon D70 performs just as well as its dSLR competitors. When we used the 18mm-to-70mm lens that Nikon includes with the kit package, the typical shutter lag was a minimal 0.4 second, just about 0.2 second longer than the Canon EOS Digital Rebel's.

The D70 costs less and is a far better camera. It is also two years newer than the D100. The D70 is an absolutely brilliant camera and the second-least expensive DSLR from anyone.

The D70 does not come with a memory card, so you'll need to purchase one separately. The D70 utilizes a folder arrangement that lets you organize images in the camera and a sequential frame counter option to avoid problems with overwriting files when copying them to a computer.

No, it's not. The Nikon D70 DSLR camera is not able to connect wirelessly using the WU-1a wireless mobile adapter and does not have built in WiFi.

Nikon D70 Review

The D70, announced on 28th January 2004 is Nikon's answer to the new sub-$1,000 digital SLR market, its clear competition being the Canon EOS 300D (Digital Rebel) announced last August. The D70 is revealed by Nikon exactly two years since the D100, the D70 appears to share quite a lot with its sibling including a six megapixel CCD sensor and Multi-CAM900 auto focus system. The D70 also appears to have quite a bit going for it which are the primary complaints for EOS 300D owners, flash exposure compensation being one of them.

Nikon D70s

With no higher-resolution sensor available, Nikon has opted to improve the features and functionality of its popular D70 model. Fortunately, until the next generation of 'pro-sumer' DSLR cameras arrives, the new D70s model will make many potential buyers very happy. For starters, for the $1999 price tag you now get a high-quality AF-S Nikkor 18-70mm lens as well as the improved camera body.
