  • The sliding hood is very convenient and well built
  • Works great and is wonderful for being able to shoot tight

Pros

  • The sliding hood is very convenient and well built
  • Works great and is wonderful for being able to shoot tight
  • combination provides very good shapness
  • Focusing is very quick and silent
  • Bright aperture and good reach (
  • The lens has a sturdy tripod collar
  • than the EF 300 4L IS and appears sharper too
  • The built in hood is very handy
  • Works very well with canon teleconverters

Cons

  • much slower - noticeably slow
