a 200mm prime is not for the faint of heart
filter size makes polarizing filters expensive
it is a bit short
No zooming
too expensive with less use
fast zoom is too heavy or expensive
three lenses suffer from focus breathing when focused close
very big and heavy
and very expensive
for web images or smaller prints
people often do size comparisons without the adapter
This lens is not weather sealed
zooms will not beat the prime in optical quality
minor pincushion distortion present will be noticeable in very few shots
lacks the telltale white finish of Canon's more expensive glass
the lack of IS and weather sealing
the front element does not turn during focus operations
corner shading is not an issue
the manual focus on mine is very slack feeling
