  • Flare resistance is excellent at all apertures
  • ideal portrait lens and useful for street candid shots
  • ensure accurate colour balance and enhance contrast
  • Focus speed and precision are very good
  • electromagnetic diaphragm ensures incredibly accurate control over aperture positioning
  • Wide-open sharpness is very good in the center and good in the corners
  • produces is razor sharp and saturation is very natural

Cons

  • Not a lens I would take through a rough outing
  • Obscura Pinhole Camera Simulator

  • Neither lens has a problem with flare
  • soft focus effect takes time
  • somewhat-sharp soft-focus lens
  • the focus is not slow and not noisy
  • Lens flare is very pronounced even with a hood against even slightly backlit subjects
